Permanence
Psalm 3:1-4 (NIV):
We were studying King David the other day, and a thought hit me. The God David prayed to 3000 years ago, who delivered David from his enemies, who forgave David of myriad sins, is the SAME God we are praying to right now. His eternality (Heb. 13:8) means that He stays the same: the same power, the same love, all being offered to us! This truth is so simple, yet so powerful. Man, I love this stuff.
